Figure drawing from a 3 hour life drawing session. Many lessons learned, one of which, prioritization while I’m working. I kept trying to move into complicated sections of the drawing at the end of every pose and it ruined my ability to get a proper block-in down before the model took a break.
The result, I couldn’t get the time to settle on a solid block-in and just work values, instead the hand shape kept changing on me and I had to abandon the hands eventually as time just ran out.
Another consideration for this drawing is I hadn’t work the value relationships as well as I should have, and that’s something else I’ll be fixing next session I do.
